Crow Pie is a print publication and website dedicated to telling stories that need a unique home. We are working with contributors from the editorial, creative, and culinary worlds to make a tangible magazine full of pieces that might not fit anywhere else.
A collection of nonfiction writing, photography, illustration, animation, video, and more will explore each issue’s theme through the lens of food. With our team’s background in food media, front of house, and back, we’ve decided to put food at the center of the publication to inspire contributors to find creative connections between life and how we feed ourselves while moving through it.
When we first talked about Crow Pie as a concept, we imagined it as a response to a rejection letter, articles you can't find a place for, edits that make you feel like a loser, or major layoffs. We’re all forced to eat crow at some point–especially working in the creative and culinary industries–but after facing that reality we know how great it is to collaborate with an outlet that's excited about offbeat work and commitment to a craft.
